A closer look / The materials

What Luna Wave
is made of.

Colour, texture, shape and finish. Every piece starts with a design, and the materials that bring it to life.

Acetate / depth in every shade.

01 / Acetate

Colour with depth.

Glossy, translucent, marbled or softly opaque. Acetate brings depth and structure to many of our claws, barrettes and headbands.

For the Jelly Claw, double-layered acetate gives the shape its thickness. A special surface finish creates that smooth, luminous, jelly-like shine.

Galaxy / colour with a little shimmer.

02 / Acrylic & other materials

Room to play.

Some designs call for a different approach. Selected pieces, including our Galaxy Claws and selected Denim styles, use acrylic.

We choose the material to suit the shape, colour and finish of the piece. There is no single formula for every design.

Fabric / softness, gathered.

03 / Fabric

A softer shape.

The way a fabric gathers, moves and holds its shape changes everything.

Our scrunchies, bows and fabric accessories use different textiles for different effects. Soft or crisp, airy or full, the texture is part of the design.

The details / a finishing touch.

04 / Metal & details

The little things.

A clasp, a hinge, a carefully placed detail. Small components shape both the look and the feel of an accessory.

We consider weight, fastening and finish alongside decoration. A piece should feel as considered as it looks.

Made for the design

It starts with an idea.

Then we find the material, thickness, finish and construction that bring it to life. What matters is the finished piece, and how naturally it becomes part of what you wear.
